Recollections of Dubai Visit

Hello Everyone..

Jai Shri Mata Ji !

Here goes my personal account of experience of mothers visit. And also
what I heard from Sahaja yogi's in Dubai.. I was not there all the
time when things were happening... So please forgive me for any
deviations...

We were informed well in advance that mother would be arriving.. and
it is was decided informally that everybody would be given a chance..
and subtly there was an agreement that the newcomers would be sent
ahead ; as in they would get to be in front of mother more.

Mother had come to Dubai before..so the older yogi's had many chances
to be with her. There was a public program in Dubai in 2002...

Mother arrived at the airport..and the yuva's were there to welcome
her..along with some seniors...As soon as mother sat in the car.. she
said.. These are all the new ones.. where are the old ones.. When
someone told her that Dubai collective was big and people are old..she
said ' aacha' and then said.. These are new ones..

( this was told to us by an Uncle who was there in the car..)

Mother did comment that there was never that much traffic in Dubai..
It has only increased recently..

Then looking at a structure she asked - What is it.. Sir CP on being
prompted by a sahaja yogi said that this would help relieve the
traffic problems.

Shri Mataji Earlier greeted all at the airport and then also waiting
sahaja yogi's at the airport and also at the hotel..

There were many people who were there at the hotel curious to know who
was coming.. Among them was a iranian couple.. They asked and one
sahaja yogi requested them to open their hands and stand.. they would
explain all about sahaja to them after mother goes..

And they got their realization. On being asked what they felt..they
said that they felt warm and cold sensation on their hands..

There were little children waiting in the lobby to greet mother..
Mother went to her room and said that the room decoration was very
beautiful. She said that there were 100 children at the airport where
were they now.

Then all the children were ushered up to her room.. She was very happy
. She spoke them. She asked them if they knew how to sing bhajans..
Sir CP asked all those who sang bhajans to raise their hands.. All of
them did. Mother said that she would like to meet all the children
again tommorow. She said that she would like to meet all the sahaja
yogi's. She said that she was here for two days and we must meet as
much as possible. She asked the lady's who were sitting in one corner
to come and sit close to her.. She then had one photograph of ladies
taken with her . :) (Continued, below the video)



She also said that 'aap log paar ho gaye.. ( you all have been given
realization) and we must give it to others. She asked us to call all
the others who have not got their realization. It clearly meant that
there would be a progrom the next day and what made it special was
that it would be a public program. The night ended with hearing
stories of what mother said in her room.. There were anecdotes,
miracles, stories of angels conspiring to have ppl there at the right
time beating the traffic et al.

So we all slept late... . so joyous also little aware that there are
arrangements to be made for the hall for tommorow. The next
morning…this and that happened and that and this happened .. and in
the finale the organizers decided that the Hotel where mother was
staying was the best place for holding the program....When the news
came to us.. We looked to towards each other and said….did we not know
it already..

Then followed the real cool part of decorating the place.. The hotel
ppl came and said that u cannot do this adn u cannot hit a nail there.

and we were looking towards each other..

then a sahaja yogi would come .. saying..it is already there.. from
the people who had used the stage earlier..

somehow the things rolled..and by aroung 7-30pm the stage was set
beautifully decorated.

close to 600 ppl were there...

All faces did not look familiar.. so I guess there were some newcomers..

Many ppl staying at the hotel also seemed curious.

Then an announcement was made.. That Shri Mata ji and Sir CP would
like to meet all the children upstairs in her room..
It was getting a little clear that mother would not come.. I remember
speaking to some yogi's who had come down from Italy and asking them
if they thought mother will come down.. They said yes she would.. we
would get to see her.. Then I asked the other yogi if mother would come down..He said we must pray..

Then they asked me what I felt.. remember saying something special
should happenn..wrong I was ..to demand...

Newcomers were getting their realization.. Someone just came and told
me that everyone is allowed..Everybody got to go there and were
allowed to offer their pranams.

Mother was sleeping right though and she did not open her eyes.

(I heard this story ..from some one..so )
There was this yogini ..who said that she wanted to take the darshan
when she was awake. and with little prodding when the
last sahaja yogi;s were in the line..She also entered the room... and
just then mother opened her eyes...... She was the last yogini to get
in.

Luckily I along with another bhaiya had the night shift that day..
Means that we had to get stuff for mother's breakfast and any other
requirements.

Did not have to do much with that..but got to sit out there and meditate..
Mother got up quite early..adn she was there for breakfast.. We once
again had her darshan... Then again we saw Mother through the Loby of
the hotel.. She was looking at the sahaja yogi's..

The other took mother to the airport. and we stayed back to help with
hotel room packing..

All in all it was beautiful...The experience of working along side
sahaja yogi's, shopping for mother.. all of those little little things
put in place a wonderful ending to my stay in Dubai..

Beautiful News coming from Cabella. Shri Mataji blesses Cabella on 22nd April.

Today Shri Mataji blessed, yet once again the Italian soil with Her Divine presence. An unusual heat had been warming up the Borbera valley in the last few days and still at midday the sun was shining strong on the heads of the yogis working to prepare for Shri Mataji's arrival. As soon as Shri Mataji approached Cabella big clouds gathered in the sky. Lightnings appeared to announce Her arrival, a strong wind and a few raindrops brought relief on earth.

Shri Mataji stopped in Nirmala Nagar full of eager yogis that awaited Her arrival. A dance by the Yuva Shakti accompanied the car on the way to the place. Shri Mataji was presented with Lakshmi baskets full of local food products and gifts. A Qawwali was sung and afterwards Shri Mataji moved to Her Abode in Cabella. At the end of the program Sir CP said, "Its good to be home." All the souls rejoiced having had the blessing of the darshan of their Divine Mother. Around the castle huge flowers had just blossomed for the occasion, to offer their beauty to the eyes of our Mother. Children sprinkled rose petals before Her, as She entered the Castle.

Easter Sunday- the day of resurrection

If ever there was a truer reflection of a day of great spiritual
import, a day which lived out in events its own true meaning, it was to be
this day. Coming to the end of an incredible weekend here in Pune,
the 60th Anniversary celebrations. Today was an incredible day, we were
meeting with Sir CP discussing ISPS, plans, buildings, and the future, then word
came that Shri Mataji wanted to see us. When we entered the room Our Mother was
sitting in Her chair with a broad smile beaming and we were ushered in and we
began discussing the ISPS plans.

Shri Mataji was incredible, She was asking about the buildings, their sizes,
where the children would be playing, safety issues with heights, teachers,
staff accommodation. Then she said to come tomorrow with larger plans and to
have a think about the size of the buildings which she said was too
small. Many of us came out of the room with tears of joy in our eyes, the
emotions were such. Sir said it was probably the longest conversation in five
years. Totally amazing, transforming, incredible. If possible this day was
to become even more incredible. We meet a few hours
later for an impromptu Easter Puja. We were fortunate to perform Puja to Shri
Mataji, the auspicious offerings were made, the vibrations incredible.

Shri Mataji asked for the microphone, and She smiled at us all and for
the first time in many years She spoke in a clear lucid tones, words of power,
awakening the kundalini, affirming, reassuring, joyous revelation. Tears of joy
again began to flow around the room, and through many water filled eyes were we
privileged to again sit as humble devotes before the Feet of our Guru, and
listen to Easter Puja discourse. Please forgive any inaccuracies in their
re-telling for this humble instrument is full of faults. Shri Mataji began
by saying that it is a very important day, the day of Christ resurrection, He
resurrected so that he could transform people but now we can do that work and we
should not be afraid, and have no doubts about yourself and your self
realization, you should respect your self realization it is something very
special, something unique. Shri Mataji said if you have any doubts
then you should come in front, in fact come now and talk to me, you should not
have any doubts, for you are all special beautiful people, when I look out I see
so many beautiful faces in front of me, you are all so beautiful.

We have to confirm our self realization we have to respect our
self realization and we have to pass on what we have received
to the world, we have to give what we have achieved in Sahaja Yoga to many
more people who are waiting, there are so many good people who have
not received their self realization, they are all waiting, you have to take up
this work. Shri Mataji said you should all go out and take a lead,
spread Sahaja Yoga so we can give a chance to other people who have
not received their self realization, there is nothing more important
to do, there are many good people in the world who have not received their self
realization and if you see around the world is in chaos, there is a lot of
chaos, the world needs this. Sahaja Yoga is the only solution. Shri Mataji
ended with something reduced all to tears again, she said "I am
sorry if I have not helped you all enough to finish this job, in many
things perhaps I have not finished off what I have started …. so far " That
was the moment, the beaming smile, the words of encouragement, tear filled eyes,
all around faces wet with tears of joy.

Sir CP was continually wiping tears from his eyes, and through the talk his
hands were raised in supplication, he bowed to Shri Mataji, and to
God Almighty in Heaven above. Of us all he was by far the happiest and
most joyous. Shri Mataji looked around at us all and asked if there was
anything wrong, we should all be happy. We answered we not sad, just very,
very, happy to again hear Her voice. We then performed Aarti and the
music began. Some gifts were given, one being a silver chariot drawn
by seven horses which was presented. Shri Mataji said it was very symbolic, the
seven horses, and the chariot, but the horses were not drawing a chariot they
were pulling the Sahaja Yogis, everywhere the Sahaja Yogis are being
helped.

When we presented the Australian gift she commented that Australia is a very
cut off place, geographically, and it was good that Her children had not
forgotten Her, to which we responded not only Her Australian children, but all
Her children all over the world had never left Her side, and certainly not
forgotten Her. Shri Mataji left but said there should be music and
dancing we should be in joy, the music played and we all
danced and danced and danced.

Proving Borat Wrong

Sacha Baron may have ruined the image of Khazakistan via Borat, but this heart-warming story of international grass-roots cooperation brings out the lovely nature of Khazaks pledging help to Mongolia. To provide some background, a Mongolian yogini, who spent some years in Chicago, went back to her country and after many struggles to establish the practice of true meditation, called out to the international community of Sahaja Yogis to reach out and help Sahaja in Mongolia. Here is her update:

With a great pleasure to inform you and share my joy that Kazahstan yogis
called me that they would come to help in Mongolia to spread sahajayoga In
summer time. So Happy!Datta Khair and Galina Mazur, (I met her in USA in
Navaratri and Divali Puja time :-) Will help with public programs and other
things : -) Kazahstan is also country located as Mongolia - between China and
Russia, it is our neighbor country, former Soviet Republic. They have language
very similar to Turkish, and also in Mongolia here in border the nationality of
Kazah people lives as well. Kazahstan people are Islamic, but in Mongolia is
shamanisms and kind of lamaistic rituals same as in Tibet. So it is just small
introduction about 2 countries.Of course, if some other yogis would like to
come, everybody is welcome, we can see later, maybe we can arrange some tour
around here, when it will be warmer and better.

Here in Mongolia for now are
meditating few, 3-10 people in range of my friends, mostly young people around
age of 20. I am 35 already, but they are nice friends to me, calling me
meditation teacher, older sister and etc: -)Mostly they are from art school. I
think they are not meditating regularly at home, but we are seeing each other
often at least once a week and we meditate. It is good beginning, because they
feel vibration very good, and the transformation after the meditation, the
change of vibrations. Though it is not like regular public programs, as
friends…znami, and youngsters, coming and going, if they want to visit coming
and sometimes they stop, but I have many many small small nice experiences with
them, how they are amazed how the vibration flows.. But through these friends I
can meet other more nice people, to whom they are introducing me or just to be
at their school, I am meeting youngsters and giving them their realization and
offering them to come for meditation. So I am trying to go often there after my
work or on weekends. And surprisingly everything goes so well, even I don't even
need to try, every thing goes so spontaneously, that I can see more and more
that everything is doing Mother. Getting more confidence regarding leading
meditation and leading programs, what I was afraid before : -) Really all is
done by Mother : -)Beside that still there are other seekers who told they would
come. Have to work out their circumstances, to come.For example last time I met
one very sweet deep seeker, for example during our talk he told that in the
whole world the feeling is the greatest thing. That he can see these artists as
Picaso… "mind" based-for example cubism art and etc. And on other side "feeling"
based artists –Mickelangelo... (he named more names of course), He said that
more pleasure he receives from the Mickelangelo, .. /he is sculptor/ And himself
also I have noticed is very nice thoughtless and more on his feelings. He said
that his heart acts when he just thinks about what he likes, his heart answers
that starts beat more quickly and feels more good feeling. Such it is cute and
sweet to meet that kind of pure seeking spirits. All these art guys are more
thoughtless and more real. I thank to Mother that she brought me to these young
people.There are two ladies of my age they have their family and their heart is
more motherly, one said, she have noticed that after the meditation she feels
more love, she noticed that feeling on her son that she feels intense love she
said.Also I have been meditating with children in high school, through one of
the young art teacher with his class of 12-13 year old children, but it stopped
maybe of their parents....

Recollections of Birthday Puja 2007

...The day was too hot for all of us with dusty wind around
and to beat the heat it was an amazing sight to enjoy the kitchen cum dinning
hall meant for the overseas yogi/nis just at the entrance of the campus.
Icepacks, Cane Juice , Coocnut water and cleansing prayers before the beautiful
altar staged within the pandal . It was like more than shade of trees that
hosted more than 1400 yogis from outside India in the Staying and the non
staying category.Beautiful menus and delicious preparation as blessings of our
Mother in Her Shri Gruhalakhsmi Form added grace to the appatite of the yogis.
There was yet another attraction ...the beautifully creative decorations of
fruits and flowers made the inside of the dinning hall as an Ashram.

Well in the evening amidst 8-8500 yogis which filled the main pandal in
the open air had their seat at 1830 hrs. although the Puja was announced for
1900 hrs and yogi/nis were requested to be in teh main pandal latest by 1800
hrs. The evening heat was gradually getting off as the left view of the open sky
sparked witha contrast crescent moon and a lone star to say we are ready.
At 1900 hrs the meditation staterd with bandhan and mahamantras and then followed a bhajan by Surekha Apte with Naam na Jane...Tum Asha Vishwas hamare...then came the beautful instrumental solo performance by overseas yogis and the hosting country brothers and sisters from middle East, Australia and others.At 1930 the earlier day's events of celebrating the Birthday event in Pratisthan was screened to see our beloved Mother happily seated and watching each and every movements. Then there was the Chhindwara Project overview on the CD. Then there were a number of bhajans rendered at Her Holy Lotusd Feet in Pratisthan with Janam Din Ayo...Bar Bar yeh din Aye...happy Birthday to You..., Chhindwara mein Janam Hua ...

It was probably some wireless message rushed into announce
within bringing in teh news of Shri Mataji's arrival in the Nirmal Nagri, that
suddenly transformed the netire scenario with a bhajan...tere Sahaji Pukar Rahe
Aaj...aoo Meri Nirmala Ma(Your Sahajais are praying today for Your
arrival...please come into our hearts O Dear Nirmal Mother). Just ten minutes
later the sky filled with sparklers and beautiful fire crackers...the fragrance
engulfed the entire milieu....as the bhajnas continued amidst the impatient
collectivity standing with Shri Jagadamba Aye re .....Mahamaya Mahakali...with
the typical chorus voice of MukhiRam from india. It was probably at quarter to
eight that the curtains were opened to the collective for the Holy Darshan of
Shri Mataji amidst thunderous applaud and excitement.

It was immdeiately after that we heard Shri Ganesha Artharvashirsham
being recited and the little Ganeshas flocking around and being helped by Mr.
Pugalia and Mr. Majid to place the flowers at Her Holy Lotus Feet as the Shri
Ganesha Puja was being offered. Mother was complacent with Her gesture ....She
was alter watching also prabably trying to witness the health of Her children
who were away physically for so long from Her Darshan.... The love flowed with
Her divine glance as it could well be seen on teh giant projection screens in
teh campus inspite of the poor audio score . Well it never mattered as we were
inside heart and ears nevers mattered between Mother and Her children to
understand each other.There were bhajans then with teh ongoing Shingar like Jago
Savera Aya...Janam Din Aya AdiShakti Ka... Chhindwara mein Janam Hua ..

The most streiking and pleasant of all things happened was
spectacular...probably to my recollection...thgis was for teh first time that
Kalpana Did and Sadhna Didi were the two yoginis and the two daughter of Shri
Mataji to adore Shri AdiShakti on Her 84th Birthday together ...smiling and
having a very close contact with their Mother and our Mother...It was just
wonderful a site and we felt it was amidst a universal family play and we were
there where all sons and daughters were there before the Mother and Sir CP later
came up as our father to speak the words of our beloved Mother as Shre would
have desired him to convey to all of Her reliased Children on Her 84th Birthday.

At quater past nine Arti was offered at Her Holy Lotus Feet and then
Birthday felicitation and message from His Excellency President of India was
handede over to Sir CP to be read out to our Mother. at half past nine the
collectivity was blessed to witness the most exciting moment of the cake being
graced and cut by Mother and Sir CP being helped by their grandson with a knief.
It was filled by the joyous moments and fire crakers and ballons beings
released in high air as teh Raj Lakshmi would have desiredfor te cllectivity to
enjoy that moment in Her Holy presence of Shri Mataji.Janam Din Ayo...was again
being sung...Mother seemed to enjoy Her children...as the vening grew coooler
with Her grace the unwanted heat was gradually fading as the cresent moon
vanished into the thin air behind the heights of the backdrop hillocks where
once upon a time Shri Sita and Shri Rama had resided.

It was then the turn for the International gifts to be offered and s it
was and again we heard te bhajan Shri JAGADAMBA aYE RE..... Later the
felicitation messages were read out by Rajesh Shah . They came from President of
India , then diginitaries from Turkey the hosting country...then Texas and
Oklahoma ...the governors and Mayors...with all words that were read out in Her
Holy praise of our Mother.

It was then that Sir CP was requested to speak and he did speak what our
ears yearned for long to hear the holymessahges. It were all the prayers that we
would be humbly submitting...it was the same that Sir CP wasmaking asif we
became all one before one God Who was seated..there was a resolution taken by
Sir CP on behalf of all of us and the world to Mother...that " Mother please
maintain the throne on this Earth until every human being is trasformed.' It was
then a very lovely moment yet very serious one as Sir CP himself tried to invoke
our beloved Mother to address the collective...It was like our father was trying
to compell our Mother inside to address Her children with Her words which She
would not just do it...it was indeed a play...I felt it was te 'Para-Vaani '
from mother that was directly entering and activating our Madhyama
inside...right into our heart. It was the silence that had more powers and
energy than mere words it was subliming to all of us whoever needed to think as
they would take any meaning for that precious moment, It was Mother transmitting
Her vibrations through Her Para Vaani(speech of God)and entering into our stage
of Madhyama and would not just let out of the Vaikahari to be spelt aloud and
become mundane...It was for teh netire world ...the globe...just not for teh
eight thousand collectivity who were witnessing this play.It was indeed a word
that was pleasing to hear Sir CP opening address to us with 'Jai shri Mataji'
.Later Sir congratulated the stupendous works undertaken by teh Pune
collectivity and also Mr. Pugalia to transform this part of the Earth in Heaven
compared to the last yera sceanrio.

Then there was a last request that came o sing the qwuaali
Number...'Mata Ka Karam Hain'''...this made every kunadalini dance..Sir CP
coould not help claping and beating the moments with nods and smailes at his
corner of his lips and speaking to Mother as if saying...Look how joyous are
your Children on Your Birthday...Just bless them...and She raises Her right arm
helped by Sir CP to bless us all children.........Are we all
listening....brothers and sister...Shri Mtaji blesses us all at the conclusion
of the Birthday Puja to enjoy the vollys of cool within as we enjoy this
instruments experience...I darenot revise or revisit what Mother made me
write...I just would subit let Her vibrations flow so that our world could
grow....We are all one child of one Mother and She ois Shri Mataji in Her Mother
Form...some call Her AdiShakti some call Her by Mahashakti...But I love to call
Her asmy beloved Mother within my Heart...She is still smiling as I am saying
and I know is alaso smiling through you and through us as we enjoy this part of
the story before more flows in....

Uttrakhand Yuva Shakti collective had a unique Seminar cum workshop on 24th February 2007 at Col. V Tewari's (Uttrakhand Coordinator) residence premises amidst the greeneries of Kumaon ranges in Bhimtal (Nainital). Yuva Shaktis were mainly from Almora, Bhimtal, Nainital, Kathgodam, Pantnagar and Kashipur collectivity of Kumaon region.
The seminar took off at 11:00 a.m with collective meditation, Mahamantras, Bhajans and a prayer in hearts to Shri Mataji to guide us in seeking the right path and the destination. It was around 50-60 Yuva Shaktis who had assembled to attend this one day workshop.
The seminar on the whole was very effective and covered almost every aspects and essence of Sahaja Yoga and above all being in limits of Yuva Shakti carrying out unlimited works in Sahaja Yoga. The topics in the Seminar mainly were focused on the essence and knowledge of the subtle system and the Tattwa. It was so engrossing that everyone intangibly felt as if the entire collectivity was literally touring through the visual path of the Ida, Pingala and Sushumna along with their gross expression of plexuses within. The topic also toured around the tattwa and their significance on the subtle system in our atmic utthan. There were some interesting revealing facts where one could realize as to why and how the respective colours of the Nadis and Chakras are governed by our inner emotions and actions etc (ida, pingala). Then the topic covered aspects on cleansing of all the three channels. These were metaphorically related and demonstrated with practical knowledge of our day to day life styles.

Recalling the wonderful narration in the seminar, it is worthwhile to cite that one instance on interactive discussion on Protocol and Ritualism there was an emphasis on why we should not indulge into much of ritualism and its pros and cons in our ascent. What is the need of Protocols and less practice of rituals? A beautiful example made the collective understand the fact that how Shri Ganesha spares none those who dives into the realms of ritualism departing from the Nirmal Vidya. A beautiful example with metaphor through a story was narrated to express and explain how the traffic police hauls up who tries to act funny and becomes a bit nuisance as they drive honking their horns unnecessarily through out creating troubles for himself and also for others on way. Similarly in our journey of spiritual ascent Shri Ganesha looks after us like a cop. Whoever indulges into these karamkands are caught by Him and He takes care of those fellows. For example referring to practice of various Rituals even in Sahaja Yoga , it was pointed out that persons who loves to indulge himself with fire treatment more than meditation even after coming to Sahaja Yoga or when we are too much into candling business are caught up and the Mooladhara Chakra gets affected along with the left Swadisthana as it affects the Nirmal Vidya inside.

Then there were many subjects and subtle aspects that were covered like the inherent dangers of transgressing protocols of Brotherhood and Sisterhood and Marriage protocols in Yuvas. Beautiful examples were cited relating the relationships the ‘Trinity’ like Shri Brahma, Shri Vishnu and Shri Shiva manages in their houses with the Shakti aspect on one hand while are bound by the duties of a brother with the Shaktis of the other. Like Shri Vishnumaya is the sister of Shri Krishna on one hand while Shri Lakshmi is the Shakti of His. Shri Shiva’s Shakti becomes Parvati who is in relation the sister of Shri Krishna. Again Shri Saraswati becomes the sister in relationship with Shri Shiva and so on. Whenever there is any transgression in Sister and wife protocol Shri Krishna comes into play and Vishuddhi is affected as Shri Vishnumaya goes haywire. So the protocol is to be maintained with wife and sister distinction or brother-sister relationship specially after coming into Sahaja Yoga as we become realized souls to understand this aspect from inside. The maryadas have been distinctly defined and they are to be respected.

Although there were many issues that were discussed as the topics went ahead with the sun swinging down towards the west to set early in the Himalayas. A few understandings were given on the qualities of various Chakras and information about their presiding deities. Basic knowledge on Shri Mataji and Her advent on Earth , as to say who is Shri Mataji and how the Yuva Shakti was christened (by Mother in 1987); basic aspects of protocol expected from Yuva Shakti ;contribution of Shri Mataji and Her family in the freedom struggle and Her respect for the country; Shri Mataji’s association with Gandhiji and the sacrifices; some history and genesis of Sahaja Yoga; Knowledge on subtle system, as to how our Chakras work ( or even how much do they tolerate our nuisance) and balancing our channels; what books to read, What magazines like Chaitanya Lahiri/Divine Cool Breeze ( The Vedas for Sahaja Yogis) or the Yuva magazine Yuvadrishti that caters to the Sahaja Yogis and also shared the information on the world wide Sahaja websites with the general knowledge on where and how to plan our best of living and how to enjoy Sahaja Yoga. Of course ultimately to be joyous and be happy yet have priority in Sahaja works.

Subtle knowledge on the manifestation of Ekadasha Rudras on the Forehead and the qualities of the ten Gurus in the Void, unique to Sahaja Yoga were concisely described. Referring to their position in our subtle system, their qualities and the reason for their catches and their affect on us and also others were very nicely explained. Various cleansing techniques such as foot soaking, candling, and shoe beating and matka treatment were explained practically. The principle of the Gruha Lakshmi, her expression of warmth in us and why she sometimes becomes aggressive was explained precisely. Very vivid explanations were portrayed on the various elements like Light, Air Fire… etc. Any extreme use or misuse of these elements brings in imbalances within us. It was also pointed out as Mother says the Fire that brings warmth while cooking meals by the Gruha Lakhsmis in the kitchen can also help burn the entire household in seconds, so it is to be respected and handled carefully and respect the Gruha Lakshmi Tattwa within us. But on another hand the fire can also help enlighten the house in celebrations of Diwali or celebrations of Independence Day or Republic Day through the aspect of Raja Lakshmi principle. So each and every aspect is to be respected with balance. The use of water and effect of earth on us were also deliberated at length.

Then an interactive session on Demonstration and rehearsal on self realization and knowledge disseminations to the seekers and our attitude towards them (practical demonstrations), topics covering Yuva issues/struggles/solutions/meditation/rituals/self realization were discussed.
A unique set of questionnaire was served as a class room workshop before and after the workshop to assess how far the collective Yuvas have progressed. The questionnaire itself was so simple in the first look, yet it did test our inner knowledge on our individual ascent and progress that was to be completed in ten minutes. It had questions as to what are the changes and benefits we got from Sahaja; questions were focused on our subtle system, about various Chakras their deities and many more. Another questionnaire was related to our experiences and work done by us for Sahaja, finally a Performa was regarding our personal information was filled and this was the winding up of the programme very interesting old lecture of Shri Mataji was distributed on how to deal with the new comers. It was a old talk old Devi Puja in 1989 in Helsinki.

The day long seminar cum workshop was concluded with a beautiful gesture of Gruha Lakshmi’s expression of warmth (lunch) that was served by the senior yogi/Yoginis present over there to all the 50 Yuvas present there like a picnic. We all had it in collectivity. Finally before the departure it turned out to be another real party time for the Yuvas as it marked the Birthday celebration of our state coordinator Col. V Tewari. It was very exciting moment to witness as the B’Day boy cut the cake and all enjoyed it a lot. At 4:30 p.m the collectivity of the Yuva sangha departed like great scientists and soldiers of Love with a lot of learning and lessons in hand as if competent enough to stand together with Einstein but with a purpose...that is a vow in heart to spread Mother’s message of Love to every nook and corner and becoming a fruit from flower as we understood the blossom time has sprung up within us by Mother’s grace.

A special national seminar will be staged on 6-8 April, 2007 (Friday to Sunday)
during Easter period at a resort between Beijing and Tianjin City. Please help

SPEAKING IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD



 

I was one of the blessed sahaja yogis on the September 2006 Morocco Tour. When I arrived in Casablanca, my first concern was how to speak in french. I had learned some french years ago, but had never been fluent, nor ever used it in the last 15 years. To recover, I had taken a month of courses before coming to Morocco, but it was almost an issue for me, that how will I be able to speak..

Well, I arrived at the Hotel de Paris, said “Bonjour” to the receptionist, to my surprise I found that I could speak and he actually understood what I was saying. At first I thought I am doing something special, but it was not, not special, it was a natural thing, and so this new ability became natural in me. I felt like a bird flying for the first time! The wings and all, everything was there, and it was happening!.. It was so nice, so nice a feeling, yes I can speak now, and it’s ok now. I enjoyed it. It felt like, you see, Shri Mataji can make you do things, and you need not be afraid whether you can do it or not. Because She is there, God is there. That was it.

In fact, throughout the nine days I was in Morocco, that was the major experience I was having all the time, everywhere, with seekers, with sahaja yogis, alone.. The presence of God was so much there.

Those of us who have had the chance to be in Shri Mataji’s house will know this, it’s like She is so much there, so much in everything. You breathe in, and Her love fills your lungs and fills your heart, and you breathe out, you dissolve into the surrounding as you have become one with that love. And you look across to another sahaja yogi and you see that they are in it too. Everything merges, and your heart is so full, you feel only the gratitude that She has let you be there, but can’t even say it, you are so full of it. Such a satisfying, such an absolutely satisfying state it is.

With that kind of a heart we went to the public programs, and we found seekers who had the same heart full of love. You can’t imagine the joy it gives, to see that in these far fetched cities of Casablanca, Marakesh and Rabat we found that that is where our hearts are opened, and that is where we found people with open hearts.

 

 

 

PUBLIC PROGRAMS

 

The Moroccans are amazing people. Each program at Casablanca, Marakesh and Rabat.. Words fail, but I will try to give you an idea.

 

The programs usually began with a few bhajans – as David at the guitar and Irene at harmonium began, the sahaja yogis were transported to a higher realm, that this is The Self Realization in the land where Allah is worshipped, like mountains, watching and witnessing, we were there to see the Divine work take place. Everyone seemed very aware, most of all the seekers, they seemed to be very aware of why they were there.

 

As soon as Bernadette (and Marie Martine at the final program) started speaking, the whole attention was on her. Completely. I have never seen programs like this before. They absorbed whatever was told, one could see that, the lecture, the meditation, the music, everything.

 

At the last program in Rabat, when Bernadette said now we will start the self-realization experience, someone among the audience asked if they can come and sit on the floor. Bernadette said, “yes, of course if there are any people who want, they can come and sit on the floor.” Instantaneously, maybe 60-70 percent of the people stood up and started coming to the stage to sit on the carpet!.. It was specatacular. Those who were sitting also came forward and sat on the front rows. Nobody wanted to miss a thing, they were there for their realization and it was clearly valuable for them.

 

A unique phenomenon, at many programs, after about 45 minutes to 1 hour of starting, when Self Realization is about to begin, a new group of 20-25 people arrive and join in. Then in some places, people continue coming in large numbers, very late also, after 1 hour, 2 hours. At the end of program. And they stay too, in Rabat there has been a time when all the fourteen sahaja yogis were busy giving realization to late arrivals in small groups at different corners of the hall, after the program was over!.. To me it seemed like because they are sensitive to vibrations, when the Self-Realization is done, the seekers who are not in the hall sense this event and come by that power.

 

As we sang bhajans young people came and sat with us on the floor also, they sang along with us, some clapped, some meditated while listening, a few of them danced. In Casablanca at the end of the program when Irene asked them if they would like to sing a song of their own country the reply was “No, those things we hear all the time. We prefer to sing from your songs. Can we sing the Ganesha Ganesha again?”

 

When the programs were over, nobody left the hall. They sat with us, asking questions, learning, chatting, laughing, enjoying. Once we had to vacate the hall upon the kind reminder of hotel management – nobody wanted to go!..

 

The question from the university students was, “When are you going to come again?” and “How can we learn this meditation better?”

 

We really saw and learned from them – the beauty of Sahaja Yoga once more.

 

 

 

NAVARATRI PUJA –  MARAKESH

 

On the train I had spoken of my experience when I first met Shri Mataji in Cabella at the Guru Puja of 1997. In fact, that time I had felt a little sad because at this first encounter I had wanted to experience Her Presence, but had not been able to feel much.

When our train landed in Marakesh and we got down, something in the perception began to be increasingly different. I had the impression it must have something to do with the vibrations of the city. Meanwhile, I started pondering over this subject because to meet Shri Mataji for the first time means to really meet Her, and if I had not been able to feel Her that day, it means I did not meet Her then. So when did I first meet Her? I wanted to remember when was it that I had felt Her for the first time, and where.

That instant I remembered one meditation I had had, very long time ago about nine or ten years back, in my home in Ankara. I vividly remembered that meditation. I was sitting across a small photograph of Shri Mataji, and I was feeling that I am nothing, and She is so Wonderful. I remember I was silently praising her. And then as if She was answering me I had felt very strongly that She is in my heart, inside of me. It was as if all the praises that I had offered Her, She had put them in me. And She really was there, in my heart.

Although I always knew I had a memory like that, I had not thought of this much. But there, when I asked myself the question “when have I actually met Shri Mataji”, I found the memory of that meditation come to me. It was like a realization with much more than words could express. The whole thing came back to me, but this time with a full intensity and before I knew it I was carried into my heart, She was there, I felt Her presence absolutely there. I could feel the whole of the heart, (not only the left, but on a wider area covering left, right and center) and I felt myself dissolving outwards from there. It was very curious, as if I was thinner than the surrounding things, so when I walked about I could feel that I am partly passing through the surrounding. People, furniture, walls, anything. And when I was passing like that I could actually feel about the things.

Now this state lasted for a couple of days. I am an architect by profession. On the second day evening in Marakesh, we went to a certain historical building called Palais de Bahia. There I went along with our sahaj group, and I was surprised because now I could actually feel a lot more about the building. I had a sort of an insight, and I felt everything touching my heart because my heart had expanded. The building felt familiar. I was not thinking anything, but I was almost looking at things through the heart.

Shri Mataji's style of
yoga and self realization is taught at Saglikli Yasam Dernegi branches in
Ankara, Istanbul, Antalya, Bursa, Izmir and northern Cyprus. Shri Mataji will
come to Istanbul at the end of March or beginning of April to give talks and
enlightenment to anyone who wishes it. It is hoped the Culture or Health
Ministry or even the Foreign Ministry will invite her to Ankara in her capacity
either as an ambassador for peace or as a world-renowned spiritual teacher.

Pedro: an inmate in a jail in Helsinki

Testimony of Pedro for yogis April 2006

Pedro is an inmate who received his realisation in January 2004 in a
jail from Helsinki and is meditating since that time . Pedro is
ready to have his name and address published for yogis with his
testimony . He would be very happy also if some yogis are writing
him ! In English or Spanish .

"My name is Pedro, I am thirty years old . I am inmate in a Finnish
jail called Helsingin Vankila . My sentence is : all life in
prison .
"I went to jail in 2001 and the first years I was in emotional
roller coaster . I tried not to show it outside but inside I was
feeling terrible . But then in January 2004 when I had lost almost
all hope , Sahaja Yoga was introduced in our prison .
I immediately felt something wonderful that I never felt before .
Something I couldn't explain in words . But I knew that was
something that I had been looking for all my life . Shri Mataji gave
me my self realization .

After that, I started to meditate every day and little by little our
Mother raised me and trained me with Her endless love and divine
Vibrations . I stopped smoking immediatly, thing I couldn't do
before . I know that I am just in the beginning of this wonderful
journey and I just wish to be a better instrument of Shri Mataji .

Now, we have been meditating since almost two years and a half with
yogis supporting us weekly with their wonderful programs and love .
Mother has blessed also our little collective with the chance to
have got also the permission to meditate every Sunday morning
together 4 or 5 brother inmates and me .

I feel our bond with our brothers is stronger now It is wonderful
to see how our divine Mother is changing things miraculously in this
prison . Several times somebody working here tried to prevent the
group to meditate . But actually what happened is that Sahaja Yoga
is becoming stronger and stronger . And people is now more
interested to know what is Sahaja Yoga because they can see how
wonderful we are feeling ."

My lost smile returned inside of me .I am in peace now and want
first of all to follow this path the rest of my life .
I can see other inmates are as much helped as me .
So I really wish that every prisoner in the world could have this
life changing experience .And I want to help as much as possible
for that .
I should enjoy also to receive letters from my brothers and sisters
from all over the World !"

Krishna Puja Recollections

The 2006 Shri Krishna Puja left an indelible mark in the hearts of all who experienced it. The beauty of music, theater and joy of sharing was all over the place. Rakhi ceremony always carries special cool vibrations and is one of the most joyful events in a Krishna Puja. No one can compare the graceful and dignified dance performance of the brilliant soul Shraddha to Pt Bhimsen Joshi’s ‘Jai Jagdishwari’. The skit for Dahi-handi was awesome: it showed the breaking the curd/butter pot by Shri Krishna climbing a pyramid of yuvas. Auntie Tracy’s Julia played the role of Yashoda so well and Uncle Matt Malley’s son Tansen was brilliant as Shri Bala Krishna. It is the sweetest thing one can ever witness – you knew instantly that the crowd’s heart-strings tugged as the watched the interaction of Shri Krishna & Yashoda.

The funny twist was that Tansen was too young to climb the human pyramid and break the Matki – so in scene 2, the Krishna was replaced by another yound kid from the LA ashram – which was quite fun and joyful to watch.

The Connecticut collective performed Krishna bhajans in the Carnatic style of Indian classical music, which was tremendously soothing. They were preceeded by the heart tugging song ‘Namaste’ by the LA collective. The Toronto Collective sprung a pleasant surprise with a 12 year old lead singer – they did some amazing bhajans. There were many other dance performances by yuvas and yoginis.

Puja day morning meditation was followed by the newer biographical movie on Shri Mataji, I think called “Liberty & Freedom”. It has interviews of Shri Mataji, her daughters, Gregoire, Dr Brian Wells, Rajesh Shah and most importantly the first person to recognize Shri Mataji – the gujarati lady (my memory is failing at this point…). The movie is made on film, not video and has rich colors and top level direction and editing. It showcases some of the highlights of Sahaja Yoga – beautifully done – Shri Mataji arriving in ganapatipule by train, traveling to the MTDC hotel, puja preparations in ganapatiphule. The film starts off in a typical Indian bazaar, where a Sahaja Yogi vegetable seller is explaining what Sahaja yoga means to him in Marathi… stupendous. Then the movie moves into the details of the freedom struggle, beautiful anecdotes. Most importantly – the open explanation of Pujas and Sahaja Marriages. Astounding stuff. Hopefully it will be sold at one of the forthcoming pujas.

On puja day, Seattle showed a collection of Mother’s video extracts from all USA pujas – which was quite rousing. Shri Mataji’s declaration that America is the Vishuddhi was a beautiful moment when She is in her most compassionate ‘roopa’.

And then, Shri Mataji arrived.

Smiling, joyful, beautiful, vibrant, dynamic… during gifts she was speaking out and responding and smiling… which melted many hearts in the Grand Ballroom. Michigan made a nice offering at Mother’s lotus feet with a walnut-wood map of Michigan state with current SY centers marked with Swarovski crystals. Also a crystal car (the Auto Industry here) and a crystal lighthouse (signifying the Great Lakes and the National Coastline).

Many other things happened, little miracles, news from far and near, little leelas, yuva fun… but these stick out in memory right now…

UPDATE

One gift that got the maximum attention was a joint gift from Lebanon, Israel and Palestine (if I remember correctly). Which charged the whole ballroom with emotions.

Update: Oleg, one of the presenters wrote to the yogis later... It was so great moment when we came up to the stage (Emad from Lebanon, Akbar from Iran and me (Oleg) from Israel) offering the gift from Hala and flowers from Israel and prayer from all of us...

yesterday we (me, grish, shankar, david and many many others whom you don't know...) went to a place which is kinda like a refugee camp on one of the southern israeli shores of the meditarenean. [hizballa are sending about 100 bombs a day to all north israel and many of the northern citizens have escaped southwards] so in that camp are around 7000 "refugees" who are very nicely taken care of in this big big project which providing them free of charge all meals drinks various activities and entertainment programs and different basic facilities.
so there we went to spread Mother\'s love and vibrations, and we were welcomed so nicely, they quickly organised a place for us and brought us all we needed and after about 3 minutes declared on the speakers that all those who wish to experiment in yoga are welcomed to our spot. a few seconds later a lecture had started to about 40 people and from that moment people kept coming, or coming back with their relatives and held us there till very late in the night and were asking if we will be coming also tomorrow and in the next day. it was so beautiful there and the atmosphere was absolutely amazing. people were really seeking some inner peace and were all truly thankful for the realisation they have recieved. so many were telling me how all their worries and fears which were haunting them for 2 weeks have been washed away after the realisation. and many many children came to us and sat for a long long time deep in meditation. there was so much love and care in the air and i felt so much satisfaction. at first the whole camp was reminding many of us of sahaj camps or ganapatipule, and also to see all this different people who didn\'t know each other before integrate so wonderfully and care for each other was a very elevating experience and very sahaj. when we left all people and organizers asked us to come again even everyday if we\'d like to i wish i will get more chances to go there and i hope none of them will be left unrealised. jai Shri Mataji Anat\n \n\n \n __._,_.___\n \n \n \n ",1]

Our Holy Mother Shri Mataji arrived safely on Sunday evening into the UK.
The plane landed at about 7.50 pm. It was a shame that we couldn’t all be there
but with baggage hold-ups etc. within the airport it wasn't until 9.50 p.m. that
Her car finally pulled away from Terminal One.Mother arrived at Her house safely
and was offered three beautiful and fragrant garlands prepared by our sisters
followed by Aarti & Prasad. She and Sir C. P. both seemed very well and in
good spirits after their long day travelling.Shri Mataji was very attentive to
everyone and seemed genuinely pleased to be here in the UK whilst being gently
received by those present. David formally thanked Mother and welcomed Her and
Sir C. P. back to the UK. Mother responded with a smile and said: “But not for
very long!” (She leaves for the U.S.A. in a few days).Shri Mataji watched as
flowers and small gifts were offered to celebrate Her Divine presence and smiled
and gestured to everyone expressing tremendous contentment.The moment drew to a
close with the opening lines to a very British Bhajan “And Did those feet in
ancient times walk upon England's Mountain Green” ..sung in gratitude and praise
that again Mother was blessing Albion with Divine Grace.Mother spoke with
several people and after everyone withdrew from Her room said how Joy Giving Her
reception had been.It seemed very clear that Her health continues to improve and
that hopefully She will enjoy a good rest whilst here in the UK prior to Her
onward travels to America.

I was a bit late catching up with the video blogs maintained by various countries as Shri Mataji graced them this year with an itenary more complex than anyone else 30 years younger to Her.

This video, showing the farewell from UK about a month ago speaks volumes of the grace and peace that flow from this personality, simply known as Mother in all universes.

The calm and love emanating from Her face in this video seem to be saying, "Children, rest now, as your Mother has just fought a battle. So be happy and celebrate this victory as we will move on to another one before we know it. On July 20th, a seeker who has been coming to the newcomers' program in Spanish for last 5 months here in Dallas, and writes the health section of a local newspaper, was interviewed on the local Latino radio station Univision (1270AM). She had told us a few weeks back that the interview would be about the benefits of meditation, so we gave her some material with the research done in Sahaja Yoga, and the information about the programs for Realize America.

Some of us were listening to the radio, and were expecting to hear about the benefits of relaxation and of different types of meditation. To our surprise, even before the interview started, the presenter announced the topic of the day as Benefits of Meditation and she announced our programs for beginners on Realize America Day, and also the information about our center. The interview lasted 15 - 20 min. In a simple way she talked about Sahaja Yoga, she described what is meditation, why do we keep our palms upwards, the health benefits, the personal changes she has experienced, and how we learn to be in the present moment. At the end the presenter asked her what is different about this Yoga Meditation compared to others, and she answered: "it is so easy, so simple that you dont have to do anything, like paying attention to breathing or to anything, because everything happens by itself!"

It is so amazing how the Divine finds different ways to spread Mother's love and message to all the seekers.

Honorary Citizenship of Italy to be conferred upon Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi

What joy!

29th June 2006 -Honorary Citizenship of Italy
It is with great joy that we announce the Honorary Citizenship to be conferred upon Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi.

The local assembly for the Municipal Office of Cabella Ligure, Alessandria Italy met recently and unanimously elected to award Shri Mataji with the Honorary Citizenship of Italy. Holding Shri Mataji in the highest regard this Honorary Citizenship has been offered in recognition of the Her great works and life enriching experience. Great prosperity and peace has been brought to the valley of Val Borbera since 1991 when Shri Mataji first took up residence here in Cabella Ligure in 1991.
With this good news flowers were offered to Shri Mataji, She was very pleased by this gesture and sent all Her love to all those well wishers and local citizens who have actively supported Sahaja Yoga activities throughout the years.
On the 8th July there will be an official gathering to formally present Shri Mataji with Her honorary citizenship, attended by the Mayor of the Municipal Office of Cabella Ligure and other local dignitaries.

BOM UNDER OBSERVATORY ON SECTS
The spiritual movement Sahaja Yoga has won a preliminary injunction against the Information- and Advicecenter on Harmful Sectarian Organizations(IACSSO), according to De Morgen and De Standaard on Tuesday[20 june 2006]
The Brussels Court of Appeal convicted the federal "observatorium sects", and therefore the government, because of its lack of objectivity in its two yearly report and violation of the statutory duty of motivation. The verdict opens the door to other court cases against the center by (supposed) sects.
In its 2-yearly advisory report stigmatized the IACSSO last year the non-profit organization Sahaja Yoga as a risk-full organization. The report made mention of misleading recruitment, xenophobia, antisemitism and a danger to children. Sahaja Yoga started proceedings accordingly because they considered that the report was unjust.
"The center has condemned us without evidences", says a member of the movement who wishes to remain anonymous because of possible consequences at the company where he works. " It never wanted to hear our side of the story, nor did it want to keep the verdict in Paris where the movement was cleared, into account. We had no other choice but to go to court to clear our name."
In first instance the movement was put right for fifty percent. The Court of Appeal pursues the movement completely now and is convicting the Begian state to measures which have to lead up to rehabilitation for Sahaja Yoga: the IACSSO must mention in its advice that the advice doesn't mean that Sahaja Yoga is a harmful sectarian organization. Furthermore must the decision be published on the we bsite of the IACSSO.
The decision has far reaching consequences. It is clear that the IACSSO has to change its course of action, just like its name. There is not always a question of harmful sectarian organizations.(PD)

Sahasrara Puja in Nargol

The second best place to perform Sahasrara Puja in the world is Nargol (the first of course, is with Shri Mataji).

Yogis from the state of Gujarat gather on the shores of Nargol to offer Sahasrara Puja. Personally, this is a place where I grew up bathing in the waters of Nargol shore. Our family vacation home was just across the gulf, a short ferry ride. But our part of the beach was riddled with the fish cleaning industry, so we were forced to go to Nargol to bathe.

We had no idea who's lotus feet graced those waters...

Self-Realization & Kundalini Awakening in Bahrain

No one can stress enough the need for self-realization. With the changing times, the ascending energies in the world, and the lack of a true and simple way to adapt to the new energies, everyone ends up feeling 'tense'. This tension is nothing but the primordial urge to achieve 'moksha' or the ultimate relief.


Seekers of truth in Bahrain found their destiny and here are some pictures. Here is the report:

Brothers and sisters, the public program was well received by the
audience.

Over 108 new people attended the event. It was a good interactive session. The presentation was done by Mr.Suresh, the leader of Dubai Collective. Lots of new people have shown very keen interest and some of them were seen noting down points about chakras, channels etc. There were also 2 doctors got their realisation.

The next day's follow up program at our regular centre was also well attended. Some of the new people were so convinced they brought new
members for the second day's program. People came with families and
some of them are very pleased with themselves about feeling
vibrations.

The bahrain sahaj yogies are active now in following up the new
people. I request once again to all our brothers and sisters to pray
for the growth of Sahaj Yoga in bahrain.

By the Grace of Shri Mataji we are also in the process of spreading
this invaluable gift to mankind by HH Shri Mataji, to the local
arabic people. Two of them have attended the program. They are into
sahaj for the past 2 months.

Mother has given us a lifetime experience by asking us to take the
responsibility of spreading Sahaj to the local arabic people. If
everything goes well and if Mataji permits me, I will soon come out
with a series of experience I've encountered with one of the Bahraini
Sahaj Yogini who is so pure and specially chosen by Shri Mataji.
Some are hair raising and some we will literally cry out of sheer joy
of our spirit.

Thanks to all who have participated in this noble gesture.

The Sun Smiles Down

Shri Mataji is radiant and generous at the Akshaya Tritiya puja in UK, the heart of the universe. The joy of seeing Mother happy, is a joy unfelt before. May these everlasting moments etch in our hearts forever.

Akshaya Tritiya is a festival... literally the "Infallible Third Day of the Month". Only once a year do the sun and the moon are at their brightest simultaneously. And this is the 3rd day (Tritiya) of the lunar month of "Vaisakh". Vedic systems followed the lunar calendar for auspiciousness and hence the reference to lunar calendars throughout Indo-cultural festivals.

The following auspicious events have occured on Akshaya Tritiya:
1. The coming of the Ganges on Earth, invited by Bhagiratha for cleansing his forefather's sins (cleansing of left side).
2. The day Veda Vyasa and Shri Ganesha started writing the Mahabharata.
3. The day Satya Yuga (Golden Age) starts in every iteration of the four ages: Satya, Dwapar, Treta and Kali.
4. Birth-day of Aadhishankaracharya (May 6), whose "Saundarya Lahiri" is the Golden Standard of description of vibrations which Sahaja Yogis feel and enjoy.
5. Birth day of Lord Buddha, the King of Right Adnya chakra on 16th May.

Indian Collective's Departure Tribute

Shri Mataji's extensive travels at this age amazes everyone who knows Her. She left India for UK a while back, on the way from Australia.

The news story from India mentions that during their stopover in Mumbai, they stayed in the Jijabai Suite. Jijabai was the great mother of the herioc realized soul, Shivaji. Shivaji has been praised for his bravery in many tributes in Mother's talks. His bravery, courage and light have graced our textbooks as we studied History in middle school.

Jijabai was a true Viramata, mother of the courageous. She has mentioned the need for those who call Her Mother, to be brave walking the path of Kundalini Yoga. Kundalini Yoga takes courage of the highest order.

St. George's Day

It is St. George's day in England. Shri Mataji and Sir CP spent an evening on this day with the English yogis and the atmosphere was quite charged.

St. George's day also happens to be the birth and death anniversary of the Bard. Shakespeare was born this day and Shri Mataji was presented a book of his complete works this evening.
